A spy novel that came to mind during this episode is William Boyd's Restless. I haven't read it, but saw the TV film, which was excellent. It stars Hayley Atwell, Rufus Sewell, Michelle Dockery, and Michael Gambon, among others. I'll be trying to listen to the audio book in 2016.http://imdb.to/1K6tsZX
ReplyDeleteIt appears you've already got Kenya covered, but if you want to re-visit it, The Man-Eaters of Tsavo and Other East African Adventures by John Henry Patterson was fascinating.
I hope you have fun with your 2016 goals!
I'm never done with a country. Right now I have three each for South Sudan and Uganda! So thanks.
DeleteI hadn't heard of that William Boyd either. I have a brand new copy of Any Human Heart on my to-be-read shelves at home. Taking note of both!
